Dr Wajiha Basir is the proud owner and Practice Principal of Trinity House Dental Care. Since graduating from Manchester Dental School in 2007, she’s pursued advanced training in aesthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry, earning recognition as a Dentist of the Year finalist (2023 & 2024) and Highly Commended Practice Principal of the Year (North, 2024).
A member of the Royal College of Surgeons (England & Edinburgh), Wajiha is deeply committed to clinical excellence and mentorship. She holds a PG Cert in Teaching in Healthcare and mentors both foundation dentists and postgraduates at ICE Hospital, Manchester.
Through her leadership, Trinity House Dental Care has grown into a warm, patient-focused private practice, built on empathy, trust, and community values. Outside of dentistry, Wajiha supports charitable projects and enjoys creative pursuits that help her maintain balance.
As a mum of two, Wajiha knows firsthand the challenges of juggling family life with practice ownership. Joining DMN was a natural step—she’s passionate about supporting fellow dental mums navigating the pressures of leadership, career growth, and motherhood. Her mission is to empower women to build practices—and lives—that align with their values.
